Yep ... poor little bugger probably won't survive for long. It he is hanging around, try putting a cage out. I once did this with a cockatiel. It simply stepped into the cage!
:-) .. we first saw this little guy about 3 months ago , .. he has been a regular since Saturday 10-10-2015, most of the day .. doesn't mind hanging with the Lorakeets, more happy spending time with the topknot pidgeons.. all birds here are free to come and go... nothing caged here :-)
3 months is a long time for a budgie that was probably raised in a cage. I have had a few escapee budgies in my time; they generally don't hang around for more than a few weeks. There are a lot of hazards out there! Keep us informed!

Maybe check around your local area and see if there are any missing budgie signs around.
