Hello everyone, I'm new here on the Birds in Backyards site. I've already posted a few topics. I'm still in high school and I haven't had much experience yet (and I do not have the right equipment either) but I'll get better with time and practice. I love birds and photography and I love bird photography even better. Can't wait to start!
Welcome BirdLover. I too am in high school, so good to see others my age :)
I like both birds and bird photography so YAY.

Hi and welcome, I am also in high school and love all animals but probably birds the most. I also love bird photography. I hope you will enjoy the forum.
Thanks guys, I do love animals but birds are one of my favourites.

Nothing like youthful enthusiasm, welcome all.
I live in Victoria. Please, does anyone know any good bird watching places around melbourne?

ebird has a wealth of current data. It would be worth exploring, I contribute my sightings to it
To give you a starting point:
Victoria Hotspot map- zoom in to see each birdwatching spot that has been visited by ebirders and click for details on what has been seen there

Yes, Ebird is great, I have used it to find a lot of great birdwatching spots that I go to often now.
