So I was going through my hundreds of photos trying to sort through when I came accross this particular one, which I believe gives me 2 ticks. (Don't know how I missed it.
I'm not 100% sure of these shore birds but I think the one in the centre is a Terek Sandpiper. (slightly upcurved black bill, with orange at the base as well as short orange-yellow legs)
The other birds I believe are Grey-Tailed Tattler except for the half bird on the far right which I think is an Eastern Curlew.
Would love some verication
Terek Sandpiper - yes, leg colour and upturned bill
Eastern Curlew - based on size & colour yes
Peter
Thanks Pacman, thats a new tick for me.
Could you confirm the others are Grey-Tailed Tattlers?
yes, the others are Tattlers and given that Wandering Tattler keep to themselves and to rocky areas these would be Grey-tailed tattler
Peter
Awesome Peter thanks for that. That means another tick. (Insert smiley face)
Well spotted.
