Hi all,
I recorded a bird call the other morning at around 3am. It has a very unique 2 part call. The first is usually a 5 note ascending call, followed by a 4 note descending call. Here is the link to the sound file. It was recorded on my phone and has a bit of background noise so listen carefully to hear it.
It has been bugging me for ages as i have had no luck finding out what it is. Is anyone able to identify?

Cheers.
I think that's a Pied Butcherbird, shanekward.
I'll second that!
Thanks guys, there are definately similarities there so maybe this bird deviates a little from their usual calls.
