Tawny Frogmouth

Went out to the Sandwash this morning to check  if the young had arrived yet.

As soon as i parked my car i spotted the male having a stretch so quickly grabbed the camera and hopped out of the car for some quick snaps. I was facing the sun so not the best after pp.

Then a quick turn of the head to check the female and i was lucky to get some shots of one young, there might be more but only got to see one.

Awww, they are so cute. Quite a bit later than the ones in Fadden, they fledged about a week or 2 ago
