Silvergulls & Eastern Yellow Robin

I finally saw my first Eastern Yellow Robin (Eopsaltria australis)! A lot bigger than I thought and not a great photo but still very happy and also some Silvergulls (Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae). The EYR was taken at a place called 'The Briars' in Mornington Peninsula, if anyone else has been there, feel free to add any photos from there!

Well done getting the yellow robin sighting and photo. They are one of the bigger "little birds".

That's very exciting to have seen your first Eastern Yellow Robin. I've never seen one yet so maybe on day I'l go to 'The Briars' for a day of birding.  Also the Silver Gull picture look great!

Thank you everybody for the kind comments! For TheBirdLover or anybody else wishing to go to The Briars, some other birds to look out for are : the Rufous Whistler (one of the main birds you hear but don't see, I only saw one!), the Golden Whistler, Laughing Kookaburra, Crimson and Eastern Rosellas, Superb Fairy Wrens, and there are a lot of creeks and other water spots, so some water birds to keep an eye out for are: Black Swan, several Egret species,Spoonbill, Masked Lapwing, Pied Cormorant, (and possibly other cormorant species). There are these info sign things around the place, that tell what bird species are in that particular spot, there are also some birds of prey too, and of course the Eastern Yellow Robin!! They are the main bird to look out for, there is a lot of info on them about the park so good luck!
