Thought i would put these up again as i was a victim of the great BIBY crash of 2016 :)))
The other week i came across this Horsfield's Bronze Cuckoo and the Fairy Wren hosts.

Wow poor little things having to feed such a larger bird. Great shots by the way.
Very clear detailed shots. Fantastic proof or evidence as to the type of images the new 7DmkII coupled to the 100-400mm MkII can produce. Nice work indeed!

In the right hands :-)
Love number #2, detail to spare.
Beautiful photos, esp. #2

Aiming for DSLR-quality shots with a bridge camera
Fascinating but kind of tragic, isn't it? The male wren losing his fancy colours just makes it look even more like he's running himself ragged caring for this mishappen creature.
I don't think shots get much sharper, either. Really like the last photo.

Thanks all,
Reflex, it is indeed a great combo but you need to be close to the subject for good results/
Mike, i don't know what the wrens are thinking feeding a strange bird. I could not find the Cuckoo the next day or since, Checked on them yesterday and they are looking nice and healthy now.
