Reef Egret - landed right beside me, easy way to get a new species!

Great shots, I have been planning to go there, were there any Ruddy Turnstones there?
Thanks Tim ... one ruddy turnstone. Saw osprey, sea eagles, swamp harrier, kestrel. In the heath around the headland there was tawny grassbird, pipits and mistletoe birds.
Great set of photos WD. Love the Crested Tern with the small fish.
Samford Valley Qld.
Plenty of action here WD I love it! What a good mix. I like the Double Banded Plovers and the close up of the Red Necked Stint. He looks soo peaceful.
Great set of shots WD. Agree with John on the Tern with fish, my favourite as well.
Terrific shots WD, the silver gull looks like he's conducting an orchestra.

What a good range of shorebirds. There are about 5 in there that would be new for me

Just beautiful, did the double banded plover have only one leg?
I will have to go there soon.

Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Thanks all for the comments and viewing.
Think it had two legs Elizabeth - just standing on one, and the other one tucked up underneath keeping warm.
