I am back after a long absence

Hi everyone, I am back after a long absence and I am looking foreward to joining in on the activities.

Where can I find the information on posting images?

Can I upload from my computer as I don't have a Flicker account?

What is the maximum file size?

What is the maximum image size?

The same above for Video.

Cheers,

Hi Doug, welcome back. Basic uploading details are at the bottom of every post, you will see them below the box below where you post comments. Max file size to upload is 500kb. Most here use Flickr, I use Photobucket, both of which have free basic accounts, or you can pay to increase the amount of storage and reduce the amount of adds. I use the free version, but I don't take as many photos as some here do.

Instructions for uploading from Flicker can be found in Announcemnets/help thread here

Hi Doug, its a bit fidly, but I email images to myself which reduces the size, then save them to desktop. I then upload them directly onto the forums server.  I once had a free online images account with Imageshake, but after 2 years it turned into them wanting money to park/store the pictures.  After sucessful posting I delete the email and image from my desktop.  As Dale said I don't post all that many imiages either.

Thank you for that Jason.  What I wanted was just the file and image size as there are constraints on this for posting.  The easy way for me is I just change the image size in Photoshop to around 800 pixels on the long side and if applicable the resolution.  I can get file sizes well under 50Kb.  This also makes the image almost useless if someone wanted enlarge them for their own use.
