Down on the rivermouth again for a rather gloomy morning. Mood wasnt helped by the fact that the resident Osprey's pair nest branch has come crashing down in last week. Fortunately they hadnt started roosting and hopefully will relocate somewhere close
Cheered myself up with a Pelican sunrise, Pelican tern left, a common but for me rarely seen Red capped plover and reflections of a Darter
That red-capped plover pic is just beautiful and the sunrise is nice :)

Very nice scene with the sunrise .... you are lucky getting the sunrise two hours later, it's just too early in the day over here for me.
Thats a shame about the ospreys nest - lot of hard work in vain.
The red capped plover is a beauty.
Great shots Laza, worth the effort getting out early.
Thanks for the comments
Very happy to have got red cap plover
Like the brown falcon one of those birds which while common to the area but I never seem to across them.
Let alone get a half decent photo of them
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
