Whilst hiking out at Crooked Brook reserve in WA. I was fortunate enough to come across a pair of Western Rosellas. While I would have preferred a bit more sunlight, I was delighted that female was more interested in preening while the male fed. Normally these birds are off like a flash when see me and my nikon :)
Very different to our Easterns, nice shots.
