Working away so much lately it seems it's either Arid Lands before work in Pt Augusta or Bald Hill Beach on the way home to Adelaide, no in betweens. :-)
Had a short time before work at Arid Lands the other morning and saw some lovely birds. White-browed Babblers were very active as were White-winged Fairy Wren.
Red Wattlebirds, Singing Honeyeaters and White-plumed Honeyeaters were making the most of the, just starting to flower, native shrubs. Horsfield's Bronze-cuckoos are still around though Brown Songlarks seem to have moved on.

Stunning photos, thanks. I always think those R Wattle Birds are strange looking characters.

Great photos Rick. I cannpt pick a favourite.
Do you find the bird hide useful at the Arid Lands or is it better to just have a wander around?

Absolutely stunning photos. I especially love the babbler. What a photo!!!!
Another great set of photos .... the White-winged Fairy Wren really catches my eye because of its pose and the gorgeous blue ... but all are fantastic
Terrific set of shots Rick N! Thanks for sharing.
Another fantastic set Rick
Love the White wing Fairy wren but if I had to pick that shot of Singing honeyeater feeding is a classic
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Beautiful images Rick, all would be new ticks for me.
I'm jealous. Not only are they great photos but 3 of them wound be new for me. I have the White-Winged Fairy Wren but it is just a blue blurr, not even close to the quality of yours. That blue is simply Stunning.
