Yesterday those two immature King Parrots knocked on my window.
Everybody knows that I don't feed any birds, so I wondered what they wanted?
When I went outside I noticed the water bowl was empty. After I filled it up, they had a drink and left.
To me the boy just doesn't look right? I think his lower beak looks a bit black . Do you think it's rotten?
Love to hear what you think?
Nice of them to ask you for a drink!
When I bred budgies, the immature ones would often have dark beaks. The darkness grew out as they matured.

Thanks Soakes , that's good to know. I'm always a bit worried about the Parrots, because I have neighbours who feed them a lot, and also bread and crap.

Do we get beak decay?
You made me laugh so hard, I almost ....did... you know what.
I went to the bathroom to check on my beak, I think it's fine !

I have neighbours that feed birds bread and junk food, its annoying! They won't listen. Lovely that those birds came to tell you to refill their water. And that you have King Parrots in your BY.

Elizabeth, it might be time to drag out the photos of parrots with beak & feather disease & pop them in the neighbours' letter box.
Lol, whoops. I was probably thinking about beaks. You know what I meant :P
