Looks very young (absence of tail and or longer flight feathers). Looks like a baby Common Blackbird, but the colours are wrong and should not be found that far north. Otherwise absolutely no idea!
I agree with Tegan's suggestion of a young Corvid (crow or raven) as Australian corvids do have blue eyes when young, there is that metallic sheen to the feathers and the bill looks massive.

If its in Fitzgibbon, it is most likely an immature Torresian Crow
I agree with a juvenile corvid, most likely Torresian Crow.
