This little guy has been living on and off in one of the large bottle brush at the end of the driveway, we first thought is was an owl, but the eyes are right, someone told us it may be a kestral?

we are not sure, it has not been back since last weekend, but before that it was there for several weeks
The Southern Boobook's call is what many folk refer to as "mo poke", repeated over relatively long periods of time. If you hear this at night then the bird, or one of its ilk, is still in your area.
