I'm visiting family in Tasmania, and have come across a few birds that I don't know. The pictures are not great as they were taken at a fair distance with an old manual focus tamron zoom.
These were seen in George Town, Tassy. Please let me know what they are. Thanks.
1. Looks like European Goldfinch - feral, given gold on wings, and mottled white patches on folded wing feathers
2. Looks like an Eastern Spinebill - looking at the long curved bill, perhaps immature? I think the bill is too long to be a Yellow Throated Honeyeaters (endemic)
3. No idea
