Knowing exactly where in Queensland would help narrow the search, SmileySun, but I'm wondering if this is a Satin Bowerbird egg. Queensland members might know.
It's a bit hard to tell, because so many eggs look a bit like that.
One possibility is that it's a species that hosts a cuckoo and the young cuckoo has tossed the egg out. (e.g. Dusky Woodswallow and Pallid cuckoo).
Otherwise, the closest match I could see to the egg was one of the Miners (but probably not a Noisy Miner).
