Must be getting close to breeding time the lapwings are buzzing us again.
The images are a little soft, I thought 1/4000th sec would have been fast enough. I might go out for another try with even more shutter speed.

Always a challenge trying to balance the setting when waving the camera around trying to keep up with the flight path. Nice catch all the same.
Not to mention, being ready to run from those spurred wings at a moment's notice! :)

We see them quite often in the paddock and they have never come close enough to actually strike but the are very persistant.
