Hey, I'm breeding all different all types of birds budgies, canaries, finches and sparrows. Tonight the two baby canaries were dead after less than a week. Why do the parents give up on the babies so heartlessly?

Can only assume that they know there are problems with the babies. Natural selection will favour the stronger of broods, often animals born with congenital problems will be left to fend for themselves, which inevitably ends sadly. If all babies are dead, than perhaps a dietary issue with the parents. Certainly no expert with domestic species (or natives for that matter). I suspect you may be better answered by another breeder, vet or other expert in this field.
