Just wanted to ask my fellow birders to practice social distancing and take a deep breath till the big wave passes. We are lucky that birding can be a solitary exercise but do share your pictures with all of us. If you need to reach out as you feel isolated, then please do so. Stay safe.

Seriously, take care & be virus wise. While I've seen & heard a number of people poo poo THE VIRUS as another dose of the flu I believe it pays to adopt the cautionary principle.
Thanks Sue and woko, I also reiterate your sentiment. I am a healthcare worker, and my email is being jammed by updates and mandatory training packages, even though currently on leave. Staff illness in the healthcare sector are going through the roof, as we have been advised even if only slightly unwell, not to come to work - in the interests of the wider community. So far, touch wood, I haven't come across any confirmed cases, but I think it is just a matter of time.
