I strongly suspect you're right, Devster. There has certainly been a splattering of spammers on Birds in Backyards recently, all with links to, no doubt, nefarious locations.
Over recent days there have been quite a large number. SeanDwyer keeps coming back, they're getting harder to remove permanently, as they rejoin using different email.

Great work, Dev. I have deleted one of my posts (Eastern Great Egret) as it was attracting too much spam despite your efforts. Really difficult to be sure it is not genuine at times.
