First sighting for me,unfortunately it was amongst the branches and came out very dark, had to photo shop it a fair bit at least i have something..
I think it may be a Rufous Whistler Raoul. A nice find all the same.
I agree with Headsie. Golden whistlers are very brightly coloured. I have quite a few around my place, but I haven't managed to get a good photo yet.
I also saw my first crested shrike-tit last weekend! I thought it was another whistler at first, but then I saw the crest - much excitement!

Thanks Headsie and soakes,i used the bird finder,scrolled down and the golden whistler was the first bird i saw that looked like it. Now that you mentioned that its a Rufous whistler i kept scrolling down until i saw it,yes i agree with you both.
