Hey SpotFocus, these shots are so tight ... really nice studies ... considering the challenging back light, you captured a lot of detail, and like you said "just too cute"
I'm guessing, by the tails and beaks, that they are any 1 of 3~5 type of Wren.
Like I've said previously on BiBy threads, images that capture this level of intimacy are a real joy for me. It is like those "rare moments" birding when the subject arrives in your space and settles and you get a really full appreciation of it's presence.
Images like yours above and others on this site remind me of those rare moments, and also remind me that is has been too long since the last walk about...
What a gorgeous study of their natural behaviour, the impact is always increased by having the threesome, don't you think?
I viewed the whole images and they are just too cute, you are right.
