I've been trying our my new lens at the feeder and I'm very happy with it now. I don't have to creep too close and risk scaring them off.

Yes I'm really happy with the feather detail in these - they are as good as the best ones I've taken without the tele conversion lens on. Now I want to go and take some water birds and see how it goes - but the wind is fierce today so I'm not sure if I'll brave it.
