Galahs in tree hollow

I found a pair of galahs busily going in and out of a small hole in a tree

Tassie

Hi Tassie - near a pond in an industrial area near my home (the pond the birds in my other post are on). I had to tramp through long grass again, so I went over to the hardware shop and bought myself a nice tall pair of gumboots (fear of seeing another snake, as I always seem to be in long grass near water when I am looking for birds)

Hi Birdgirl. A fabulous set of images, once again. Like they are whispering secrets or is it like the Vulcan Mind Meld of Star-trek fame or am I just anthropomorphising again ... oh and nice wren thanks

I love seeing the close relationship they have. Here are some from our backyard

Mr Galah grooming Mrs Galah

Mr Galah grooming his son Donald (who was raised in our backyard)

A very clever and humourous reply Birdgirl, which almost went unnoticed, but I spotted it finally ... please give my regards to Donald next time you see him.
