It has been raining for the last week and more to come for the rest of this week here in Perth, i haven't taken any photo's so i thought i would share my wrens with you, taken about 3 months ago at Wungong dam shot of about 90 frames so i have plenty to chose from.
WOW!!! what colour Raoul ... I've never seen the like of this sub species fairy wren - almost worth a trip to Perth where I've never been, mate.

Raoul these are fantastic - I'd love to see more. The colour is amazing and the photos are very sharp. The female looks similar to our superb fairy-wren

Unreal Raoul great colour!
You manage to find birds close to Perth that I only ever saw down South. I used to live in Roleystone and we went there often.
Sunshine Coast Queensland
Hi Raoul - any chance BIBY could use your shot of the female for a poster we are having made for Alice Springs.
If you could get back to me ASAP (birdsinbackyards@birdsaustralia.com.au) that would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Holly
Superb shots, Raoul. They are a gorgeous creature and you've captured them beautifully.
