I've been winjing about the weather for so long now that old Huey finally gave me a three hour clear blue window of opportunity this morning during which I got my first sighting and capture of a Musk Lorikeet and a few other more familiar faces, a butcher bird, more Rosellas, a wren of sorts (I think)and another Raven - what majestic creatures they are.

HI Tark
Nice shots mate the raven is a nice bird in the right light.
Nice shots - good feather detail - black and white birds are difficult to photograph well
Thanks aa and Birdgirl, and sorry for the late reply - my wireless broadband only works when the network isn't clogged with facebook users ... not wishing to identify any particular demographic.

Tark.... are you still around. I have a friend wanting to buy a 4/3 and I was hoping to show her some of your pics as they are so good. Just found this post in search ( which I didn't know existed until now)
