Pt Addis birds.

We had a very successful orchid hunting and birding day down at Anglesea (Vic), yesterday. Beautiful blue skies and a co-operative birds. The Rufous Bristlebird is commonly found in the Pt Addis carpark running under (parked) cars and is quite approachable.

Thanks all for the comments.

ed, no mate, I did not use any flash as there was ample natural light. I have found that fill-flash (even the on-camera flash at -2) sometimes results in overexposure.

Thanks George, I have not seen either of those two birds, love the rufous bristlebird, great shot. He's a handsome devil.I may well join my brother on the Great Ocean Road trip next month when he's over from the UK and I might be able to spot some new birds...

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best

Hi George
yes infill flash can be very difficult to master, sometimes needed but always to be used with care.
