I am always impressed with the Frogmouth's wonderful plumage.
We have twittering coming from the Heron nest in the gum tree in our yard, but haven't sighted the chicks yet.
Are you like me, and getting a crook in the neck from keeping an eye (at a distance of course!) on these new arrivals?

Nice set of shots, dingo. Good to have them on our property, too. I reckon this species is having a good breeding season this year. We have three active nests in our local park.
