Lovely work Ed, you seem to get to see so many species up there. Is that because you are a dedicated birder who spends heaps of time looking? Or is birdlife just prolific on the common etc ?
I love the way the depth of field isolates the background with your lens, do you always use it at 400 for bird shots such as this? ( I realise it will vary )
