Don't apologise ed - your photos are always a joy.
We are quiet in SA because....................have you noticed the temperatures? Record-breaking heatwave for November. Phew.....
Love these birds - saw them years ago in Qld - before camera days!
I used to be terrified of brolgas. I used to have to walk past a nature park that had a pair of brolgas in it, and when they were nesting the birds would rush at the fence with wings spread wide and scare the wits out of me. Still don't think I have gotten over it fully LOL
They are a spectacular bird though, so on that level I can appreciate them :)
Apologies are un-necessary, ed. Just keep those brilliant shots comin' BTW, you may have missed my thread on our Twitch result, we managed 141 for the 8 hour. Four under the winning total. Thanks for sharing.
Keep em coming Ed. Saw a pair of brolgas and a young one near Maryborough recently also saw a couple on the way into Hervey Bay. Took my first "SLR with a flat battery" shot of a pair dancing at Lakefield in 1981 and have loved them ever since. Beautiful Birds.
