I took some shots of the Eastern Reef Heron last time I was in Airlie that was the first time I had seen them,several of them hang around the Marina there.

Joanneh, no, still very dry and still drying fast, maybe the driest I've seen it for a while. Was out this morning, still getting 60+ species but the waterbirds are few and far between, Barking Owl still at home.
Amateur, that is a male Victoria's Riflebird displaying.

well they are both new on me so good shots ed had a change from the common, is there any more water there yett?
Nice work Ed. I'll just have to find the time to put some effort in . Plenty of waders around lately I just have to get out there.
