This long billed Corella frightened the life out of me when he bellowed just above my head. He was in a territory dispute with the local Lorikeets over possession of this hollow. I will add some more pics when I get round to uploading them.
Here is my morning alarm clock ... or one of them anyway
and my favourite pair of Tawnies, that I see every day in the same spot at the moment

Nice shots Birdie, your morning walks seem interesting.
Hi Birdie, nice shots, your morning walk must be very nice.
Hi Birdie - great finds on your morning walk. I think your corella is a little corella. We have both in our backyard, but I think you only have little corellas in your area. Keep watching!
the little corella has a short bill, pink near the bill and no 'cut throat'
the long-billed corella has a long bill, red near the bill and a 'cut throat'
p.s. nice blue sky in these photos!
Hey great thanks Birdgirl I was hoping you would pop in and correct me if I was wrong!
I a about to post some more pics anyway, thanks for the ID
Cheers

The Pair of Little Corellas
Just keeping an eye on me to see what I am doing
And this Lorikeet was on the branch above, keeping an eye out for an opening when it looked like they could swoop in and start their own squat !!

Interesting - your top bird looks like it may have some red around the throat. White cockatoos will interbreed, so try to get a closer photo, if you can
How about this one ... he was flapping and bellowing to chase away the loris

It does look red around the throat. Do the 2 birds look the same, or different from each other?
They look different from what I can see, but not too dissimilar
