Just some more from the backyard - today I saw the parent feeding the young rainbow lorikeet. The young is feeding itself as well - it likes our grevilleas.
We had eastern rosellas coming in and looking at the box. The mynas are visiting the box but have not made a nest. Two rosellas had a fierce battle. When they do, they cling to each other and drop out of the sky because they are so busy fighting they forget to fly. The first time they fell into a bottlebrush and the second time they fell onto the ground into the garden. They get so engrosed in their battle that you can walk right up to them.
