Galahs feed time

Hi All,

Port Lincoln rail yards between 7am - 8am galahs come into the yard for a feed on grain from the trains. I enjoy watching these birds trying to sit on a wire,

Then on top of the wagons to eat the grain. If there is no train, well under those wagons is a lot of grain in between the tracks. Over the long weekend some doors where opened on one of those wagons.

Cheers

Great shots Commish, in the second shot there is a different bird on the bottom wire do you know what it was?

Some nice photos, they really are playful birds Commish, alot of them aren't there. And Worldpets I think you're looking in the wrong place if you're looking to buy some cockatoos.

Hi All,

Thanks for the comments.

cathshane - that other bird is a Galah. I had a closer look on the pc.

birdie - Yes, I am a contract driver & will be here for about 3 weeks. They are very entertaining watching there antics.

Amateur - yes they are puts a smile the face each morning I see them.

This morning it was a couple of cats putting on a show one chasing the other around the yard. While I am not much of a cat lover I got a laugh out of them.

Cheers
