I walked up the hill behind my house early this morning and found this happy little family. The parents were flat stick keeping up with their demands! I have seen heaps of Lorikeets with young or nesting too.
I think I had better stop here as I have had a few wines and have too many tabs open .... could end up with anything on here and birds posted somewhere else! LOL
Blame it on the elections

They are lovely shots, especially the feeding ones.
Once we found a noisy miner baby on the road (just on our corner) that had left the nest but couldn't really fly. It was still, quiet and cold (it was nearly dark). We took it home and put it in a polar fleece sleeping bag overnight then put it in one of our grevilleas in the morning. The family found it and fed it all day. I took it in at night again and put it out the next day. After 3 days it flew away. It was a great experience.
Thanks Birdgirl,
I must have had too much wine as I posted one twice and didn't notice it!
One of them kept standing up and I thought he was going to jump out at one stage, but he was just stretching !!

Very nice shots Birdie.Must have been good wine!
Yes indeed! Nothing beats a NZ Marlborough Sav Blanc for me... doesn't take much these days and I am seeing double though!
