Juvenile Osprey

Hi guys,
I was walking near the river with my family when we spotted this guy who has been here for a while. This is the Juvenile after its mother had fed him.

I thought this shot was funny as he started trying to tear it apart to eat it and started turning upside down! :')

These are terrific shots. I especially like the close-up view in the first. You'll have to put a super camera of your own on your wish list for birthday or Christmas (hi mum!)

gr8 shots tweety, yes ur mum is training you well:) are you anywhere near where birdie lives near coolum?.... just wondering if they are the same ospreys as hers?

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best

Great shots, Tweety, your giving mum a run for her money.. already.....my 14yo would have to plead with me to get my camera out of my hands again, last time I let her have a go she took pictures of ME!! I love the 'zoom' into the action, regardless of the fact it cuts of part of the bird, many won't like that but I do.Keep up the great work and keep onto Santa and just maybe he'll deliver.

Ed and friends of Tweety..... she has a great sense of composition for someone so young, and at the moment that is what she is concentrating on and I set the camera up ( sometimes wrongly LOL). When she is older I believe she will be a wonderful photographer. Also I think being younger they tend to see the "fun" elements probably more than we do at times :')
