King Parrot

We had more and more of these visiting us over the past week... perhaps it is time to stop feeding them and let them get back to nature!

It is easy to see why you get addicted to attracting them though ..... beautiful shot Soakes

Morning all,.....and they so intelligent! If you stop feeding them, it will only take a few days, and they won't turn up anymore. Because you are just one stop for them. You are part of their "rounds",the clever birds are most likely following a pattern, and your neighbours are feeding aswell?!So, if one shop is shut, there are plenty more.

It is indeed, a lovely picture.

I have one that visits my garden every afternoon to munch on peaches. They are an extraordinarily intelligent bird.

One year, I put fruit bag (the kind oranges come in) netting over my locquats and the little dickens, would sit there carefully removing the bags and then happily munch on locquats.

They are striking bird. Nice photo.

Hi, For some reason I missed Ollie, how cute is the dog? Question, is "Ollie" the dog, or is "Ollie" you?
