Th good news is that, now I know where to look (there's plenty of unripened berries) I should get some more pics. There's actually two birds that look the same, so I'm assuming one is a juvenile.
Nice ones Dave. Try the following suggestions (worked a treat for me last week).
1-pick a nice branch
2-stick it in a bucket of sand
3-place a small container at the end with the berries, you could also chop up some green grapes
4-set the perch up in some nice light
5-sit back and relax
6-the birds' curiosity and the free feed will encourage them to step up on the perches
7-press the shutter on your camera
8-if they're shy, stick a sheet over you and move very, very little
good luck :)
I have a few shots here of the fruits of my thinking and execution with the exception of the bower itself, which is near the Nepean Weir.

Hey they are gorgeous Sherro.... aren't those eyes stunning? Are they blackberries it is eating?

Hi Birdie, yes they're blackberries. It was interesting that she only took the ripe ones!
Great photos wow her eyes are amazing.
I was very surprised at how bright the eyes are. Beautiful colour, isn't it?
She does have beautiful eyes but I also love her pattern. I think it is cute how she has only picked the ripe berries, a true Mum! :-)

I could be wrong, but I think those eyes are due to the fact that it is a juvenile male rather than a female. But as I said I could be wrong. Ray
Gee can it fit any more in it's mouth? Great photos :)

I really like the one where she has 2 blackberries at once - they must be good!
