New to forum with photos

Hi I'm new to the forum and love what I've read and the photo's I've seen on here. Some of the stories I've read fascinate me. I'm in Adelaide, South Australia and absolutely adore birds of any kind, so I thought I would share a few of my feathered friends from my backyard.

This little guy I call Hoppy (because that's what he does), adorable little fellow. "Common Blackbird"

Heaps of "New Holland Honey Eaters" in my bottle brush trees especially when it's flowering.

"Red Wattlebird". They only really hang around when they have young. I mainly feed them Lorikeet mix with assorted fruits mixed in.

"Rainbow Lorikeet" I don't see them often mainly when the bottle brush is in flower or my palm trees flower.

I also have 6 Magpies, 2 Magpie Larks, 2 Noisy Mynas, 6 Turtle doves, 2 Crested Pigeons, 12 Crows, a dozen sparrows and too many Starlings that visit my backyard every day. 2 of the Magpies I've become very attached to. Most of the time they all get a long, they only really squabble between their own kind. I could sit all day watching birds.

I hope I've attached the photos correctly as there is no preview button on here.
Thanks for viewing my little friends.
Regards
Kim.

Thank You Birdie. We don't have really colourful birds around here apart from the Rainbow Lorikeet and Adelaide Rosella, but they are all still beautiful to me :)

Kim,
Great shots and welcome to the forum. Being originally from Adelaide it is great to see some birds I grew up with. If you start to get into the twitching then I can recommend Morialta falls and the torrens river (Modbury to TTP).

Thank You Edward. I will keep that in mind, I'm not far from Modbury. At the moment the birds in my backyard are enough work for me, especially the magpies. All the birds come for a feed or just to hang out on a daily basis and they are fascinating to watch. I've noticed even birds of the same species all have different personalities/characteristics.
