Thanks Kimbolina. Yes, the Grey Fantails are stunning. There are so many of them around at the moment, and they are quite bold, so I've been able to photograph them a lot. :)
Aren't you lucky, no idea why, but this year I don't have any Fantails, and I haven't seen the golden whistler either. But one good thing, I have more wrens than ever.Guess, I can't have it all, even if I want to. The kingfisher looks as if he is foating on air, and is so azure..,that makes him almost look unreal. Great shots Elle.
I am lucky! I see these birds everyday. The Azure is not that hard to get because they seem to have a strict routines; I know this bird comes to a certain spot at 10:36am every morning. To get better photos of the Azure, I need to get a teleconverter because, at the moment, I have to sit in a tree to get as close as possible. lol
The Golden Whistlers are always around, but I have always found it hard to get clear pictures of them. They are two of my favourite birds; I love their colours!!
The fantails, well they are just everywhere at the moment. Sometimes they swoop me, but mostly they just fly around me chasing bugs!
I've been trying to go bird watching as much as possible this week because next week I start my practical experience as a student teacher, so for the next 4 weeks I won't get much time to go out! :)
i love the azure kingfisher as well which i have only seen once, and i also love golden whistlers. they are both such eye-catching birds. i have never seen a white headed pigeon though i would love to.
They are all beautiful birds. You must be very patient - the grey fantails are always on the move. You can often predict where they will land though. I'd never noticed the lemon belly
That Grey Fantail is a stunning look bird. These are beautiful photos :)

Great shots Elle, love the Kingfisher.
Thanks everyone. Timmo, I'm on the Mid North Coast of NSW in the Manning Valley area. There is such a variety of birds around here! :)
