These are the only wild bowerbirds I've ever seen, so I was super excited when I figured out what they were.
Spotted Bowerbirds:
Common Bronzewing:
Black-fronted Dotterel:
Nankeen Night-heron:
I know this photo isn't great but it's only the second one I've ever seen in the wild and the first immature one.
I've still got all my parrot photos to post. :)
Sorry, my bad, I forgot to resize the dotterel photos.
Wow Akasha there are some nice catches there. Pity you need to resize the dotterel as it is a nice shot and it has been missed off altogether there. :)
I can see it by right clicking and view image though.

Thanks birdie. I'm going to repost the Dotterel photos tonight so everyone can see them.
How exciting to see spotted bowerbirds Akasha. Interesting range of birds there and some nice shots of the bowerbirds and the heron.
Cheers, Owen.

Thanks Owen. And sorry about doubling up on the post but my computer just isn't playing fair tonight.
Nice ones Akasha.....it must have been a good trip where ever it was.
Thanks Tassie, it was up NW of Bourke.
NW of Bourke, I am very familiar with that part of the country..there certainly are some nice birds to see out there.
Sure are Tassie, especially after the rain they had out there last year. I've never seen that country with so much vegetation. It sure is a beautiful part of the world. I was on a property about 30km west of Enngonia.
Nice part of the country and fantastic birds.
