Miscellaneous birds

I always wondered what those birds are that fly in a round flock and seem to glitter when they change direction. I found out today - they are pigeons and some are white

While I was waiting for the whistling kites, this little wren appeared near me

An egret flew over me

I think this is a male wood duck. Ducks fly really fast

White-breasted woodswallows

Thank you all.
George - it's very early days yet. I'm not good on exposure and know nothing about pp. Lots to learn!
Thank you so much for your advice about the camera bag. I got one and the cheast harness and am very happy with it. One thing I like is that I can rest the camera on top of it while I'm walking or standing around and I can't feel the weight. I also buckle it into the seat belt while driving.

Hi Birdgirl. you are definitely kicking butt with your new setup. Love the swallows. They are cute. Does your new bag have a buckle adaptor or something? Its not a bad idea so in a car accident your lenses don't become missiles.

I was born to live and I live to die.

abeleski I thought of you when I buckled the lens in. I used to sit the old camera on the passenger seat so it was ready to grab if I saw a bird on a power line. This new camera is so heavy it sets off the seat belt alarm if I don't buckle it in! At the top back is some webbing that the seat belt fits through
