Wow - never heard of it. I thought the only bellbirds were bell miners. Where are you from?
Birdgirl, people refer to Bell Miners as "bellbirds" but the bird in the photo is actually a "real" bellbird. Crested Bellbirds are found throughout a very large portion of Australia.
