A trip to Woodlands Historic Park did not produce the Robins that I was looking for but a pair of Kestrels more than made up for it.

Wow, I should say that they made up for it. Your photos are so lovely and sharp - the little wattlebird is a beauty - part of the reason I chose the new gear I have was seeing yours and ed's photos
Thanks Birdgirl. It was ed's shots and some advice from ed (and others)that eventually led me to buying my kit.

Can you feel the green from you end??? LOL
I love the hollow shot George, and they are all beautiful! Which Robin were you after?
Sunshine Coast Queensland
Nice shots George.....love the Kestrel.
Thanks for the kind remarks.

Birdie, I was looking for either Flame or Scarlets, but I think I was looking in the wrong area of the park. There's always next time.....

Love the Kestrel shots george. Great flight shot and lucky to see it on a tree as well. Black Ranges east of Macedon Ranges are puite good for scarlet robins. I went there yesterday and saw heaps of them.
Cheers, Owen.
Wow that certainly was a great catch.
