This is the same bird as posted previously. It was busy feeding on grass seed heads. This was taken from car also.

They are really very endearing little birds. I had not seen them until a couple of years ago.
Tassie, with a name like that, I hope these place names mean something to you. They are all in southern Tas. This one was at Tinderbox and I have seen them at Mortimer Bay, Risdon Brook dam, Meehan Range and on some recently cleared land just around the corner from where I live in Lindisfarne.
