Bird signs ....please post comments only here :)

Hi all, I thought it would keep it cleaner if we left the other thread as a place to look for the photos and then we could have fun commenting on here when we wanted to. It makes for a better viewing of the photos in my opinion

Just to say that I love the sign shots people are posting. Love the last one from Sparrow...it makes a change from the "do not feed the birds" signs that we normally see around here in cafes etc.

It is a good sign shot because the gull is perched on top of the sign as if reinforcing what it says.

Cheers, Owen.

Yes I know it is cropped, but my eyesight isn't fantastic and I thought the road was actually Pertick, and was coming up with all sorts of captions ie one bird per tick for all you listers, and was shattered when I downloaded the photo, so used it anyway. The street name is Petrick.

Good find Richard ....I do the same thing now....hang out around signs and hope the birds fly onto them LOL :) That is actually what I was doing on the culvert a few weeks ago when I took the Welcome swallows...they usually perch on the bus stop sign . I need to get a life...I know :')

Birdie, sounds like your life is just fine. At least they aren't neon or fluoro signs :-) Loved the Swallows. In fact I love all these "sign" photos, like you suggested, it is nice to have the fun pics as well. Birds taking baths in a bird-bath, a puddle, or a lake or ocean would be another thread I think would be enjoyable for all to see and contribute to.

oh yes...lets pick that for a project...everyone has one I am sure !! I am still trying to work out how to take the Noisy miners that bathe my swimming pool every day and then hop onto the foliage to shake off.... they are so quick it will take a bit of working out :) they do circuits so it should be manageable ...just have to find the right spot
