the welcome swallows are so sharp and close....how did you get them to sit so still? superglue on the perch? lol

I was trying to hold the dog still at the time too so it was a miracle I got a shot at all !
To be honest the rail on the culvert is next to the road and it is their favourite perch! So it is just a matter of approaching slowly enough so as not to spook them into flight in a hurry.
