Honeyeater?

I really cannot comment as that is the first flycatcher i have seen, i thought it was a Willy Wagtail initially, then maybe a Honeyeater - i'm obviously no expert on birds so i thought i should get an internet brain extention. He seemed to spend a bit of time on the lawn, probably picking up lawn grubs, then the aerial display went on for quite a while.

We do get quite a variety of birds on the property, plenty of Kookaburras, Forest Kingfishers, Willy Wagtails, Whipbirds, Eastern Robins and around this time of year the Rosellas and King Parrots come around to feed on the Pidgeon Peas - and to pinch whatever fruit they can get.

The birds are pretty happy here mainly because it is a good balance of rainforest, orchards and open paddocks with plenty of water - there is plenty for them to feed on.

We are planting more bird attracting plants around the house, Grevillea (Firesprites etc) and Lilly Pillies, so hope to attract more of the smaller birds.
