I went to visit my Mother and Sister for 3 day and ended up seeing 12 new birds (for me) Weather was overcasted the whole time except the day i left lol therefore the quality isn't the best but a bad photo is better than no photo :))

What an impressive list of birds you saw at Airlie, Myky can ask where abouts in Airlie you saw all those please.....I go up there for the weekend on a regular basis and I have not seen half of those there.....would love to see the Scarlet Honey eater and the Rufous Fantail.....thx heaps for sharing those I am going to be a bit more enthusiastic about going there thats for sure.

Incredible selection of birds Myky50. How i wish i could see some of them. You have captured ten birds there i have never seen. That scarlet HE looks an amazing bird. Love the pic's.

sorry Tassie i missed your post - my sister lives in bushland on the hill at Cannonvale - she is completely surrounded by bush and the neighbours are a fair distance away - all of these birds and probably more that i missed are just around her house
